Are you a Senior Quantity Surveyor with 8+ years of post-graduate experience, preferably with a consultancy background? We have an exciting opportunity for you to join the team and assist with all costs relating to building and civil aspects of various projects, including mixed commercial, residential, industrial, and educational, from initial concept design stage estimate to final account settlement.
As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will have the opportunity to:
- Optimise project costs, implement value engineering, and ensure value for money while still achieving the highest standards and quality
- Prepare cost estimates, tender and contract documents, and bills of quantities
- Advise clients on procurement and tendering strategies
- Assist with the change order process and the preparation and agreement of final accounts
We are looking for a driven and motivated individual with strong work ethic and excellent communication and presentation skills. The successful candidate should have:
- A BSc Level 8 Degree in Quantity Surveying
- Proficiency in the use of Excel, Cubit, and Buildsoft
- A Chartered Quantity Surveyor with RCSI or equivalent professional body (or working towards it) is preferred
