The ideal candidate will have experience across various sectors, such as food and drink, chemical, and pharmaceutical industries. Experience in the distilling sector is a plus.
As a Senior/Principal Process Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing and enhancing our client's manufacturing processes. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. Your expertise will be key in driving projects to success and ensuring the company's continued growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize continuous production and manufacturing processes to meet the organization’s output, quality, and cost goals.
- Identify and resolve process bottlenecks, recommending upgrades to equipment, work methods, or other process aspects.
- Lead and manage projects with functional or cross-functional teams, ensuring timely and effective completion.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced engineers.
- Develop and implement process control strategies to enhance process reliability and product quality.
- Collaborate with R&D, quality assurance, and production teams to develop and scale new products.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in process engineering, with at least 3 years in a senior or principal role.
- Proven track record of successfully leading process improvement initiatives.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in process simulation software and statistical analysis tools.
