Account Manager - Solar Energy Assets

Following on from a recent merger and success of winning tenders, we are looking for a motivated and dedicated Account Manager to join our Commercial team.  

At PSH, the team manage a large portfolio of clients offering O&M services and dynamic solutions nationwide. The Account Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients whilst providing the highest level of service possible. 

The Account Manager must have a hands-on approach to problem solving, be detail oriented with excellent communication skills at all levels. This role also involves assistance with tendering and procurement, market research and some administration duties.

Essential Responsibilities 

- Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
- Regularly liaise with clients and follow up on all issues and queries raised 
- Liaise internally with the technical, monitoring and operations teams to ensure queries and issues raised by clients are addressed and resolved swiftly 
- Update clients on the progress of any ongoing issues
- Assist team members with tenders for new work
- Carry our market research and prepare a market update for the team
- Attend regular meetings as and when required
- Attend industry events as and when required
- Be commercially aware of changes in the current marketplace
- Administrative duties as required

Key Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
• 2+ years relevant solar industry experience
• Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly effectively at all levels of the organisation
• Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects whilst paying strict attention to detail
• Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
• Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Team player
• Must have strong IT skills
• Must be hardworking, reliable and flexible
