The overall purpose of the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Coordinator role is to assist with contractual and statutory compliance for a portfolio of O&M contracts, in accordance with company safety, quality and environmental systems. The key objectives are to help maximise the production from client assets, increase maintenance efficiency and achieve a high level of safety performance.

The ideal candidate will be from a coordination or administration background with some experience of maintenance procedures or operating assets. A high level of organisation and computer literacy is required to be successful in this role.

This is a permanent role which could be based either in Kings Langley or at offices near Exeter, with occasional travel to operational sites.

RES is a leader in renewable energy and is expanding its reach in the area of operational services. The business currently operates and maintains a portfolio of solar and storage assets and has ambitious plans to further expand the services offered.

The responsibilities of the O&M Coordinator include:

* Focus on the daily and weekly needs of the O&M Service

* Undertake daily checks on site performance, prioritise any issues, and escalate as required

* Achieve and maintain Authorised Person status commensurate with training received, experience gained and in-line with individual job role requirements

* Monitoring compliance with maintenance schedules, record work completed, identify upcoming tasks and highlight overdue items for attention

* Compiling summaries of maintenance work completed for monthly client reporting

* Stock management and procurement of materials

* Coordinate vehicle maintenance

* Maintain site asset registers

* Administer equipment warranty claims

* Maintaining a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and other quality management tools as necessary

* Analysis of maintenance KPIs and highlighting trends and anomalies

* Ensuring client invoicing for chargeable items are carried out accurately and promptly

* Compiling compliance score for solar O&M

* Provide administrative support for field technicians, including booking travel & accommodation

* Other duties commensurate with the role



* Knowledge of office software and systems


* Knowledge of maintenance systems and procedures

* Knowledge of operational /electrical/solar assets Skills

* 1-2 years’ experience of office environment

* Experience juggling multiple priorities

* Experience working with MS Word and Excel


* Experience working with operational assets or maintenance systems



* A-Levels grade A-C or equivalent Desirable

* HND or degree in a relevant subject

* Driving licence
