Job title: Graduate Consultant

Purpose and objectives of the role

RenewEV specialises in delivering low carbon and renewable energy solutions for a wide range of clients in the West of England and Wales. We work across three primary sectors; Community Energy, Landowner Representation and Consultancy. As an Sustainability Consultant, you'll work closely with clients across these sectors to help them measure and improve their sustainability performance.

Main duties and responsibilities

The main function of the role is to provide consultancy services relating to:

• Sustainability
• Building Surveys
• Energy Monitoring
• Data Analysis
• Energy Modelling
• SBEM & SAP
• Solar and Battery System Design
• Product research

In the successful delivery of the above, the main tasks will include:

• Site visits to undertake surveys and inventories
• Undertake modelling and analysis using a variety of software tools
• Identify feasible solutions and present them to clients in the form of written reports
• Identify suitable sub-contractors and recommend packages of work to clients
• Manage the installation process to provide additional support to clients

Requirements

Experience

We welcome applications from recent graduates who are excited to work within sustainability and renewable energy. Ideally the applicant will have at some experience working in an engineering/architectural consultancy or related field. Comprehensive training will be provided for the right candidate.
Experience of using Microsoft Excel, Python and/or modelling software is advantageous.

Qualifications

Applicants should hold a degree in either Engineering, Environmental Science or allied subjects. Renew EV encourage Continual Professional Development and will support the attainment of professional membership in relevant fields.
Driving licence preferred, or ability to obtain relatively quickly.
