A leading multi-disciplinary consultancy specialising in water and wastewater infrastructure is seeking a Mid-level or Senior Hydraulic Modeller to support the continued expansion of its high-performing team across Ireland and the UK. This is a key opportunity to contribute to high-impact projects, including drainage design, SuDS, surface water management, and strategic wastewater planning.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and support the delivery of Storm Overflow Discharge Reduction Plans, flood risk assessments, and environmental solution development.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of wastewater catchment strategies.
• Ensure outputs meet required quality, standards, and specifications.
• Manage or support project delivery, including resource planning, budgeting, and reporting.
• Assist with the preparation of tender documents and fee proposals.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to their professional growth.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation in project delivery.
Requirements:
• Strong understanding of the water industry in Ireland and the UK, including regulatory frameworks.
• Proven experience in delivering technically robust hydraulic modelling projects.
• Proficient in InfoWorks ICM and ICM Exchange.
• Background in hydraulic modelling, catchment planning, and solution development.
• Ability to work independently, review work for quality assurance, and contribute to best practices.
